Recumbent Headset Adapters

This is an interesting project a customer came to me with. He had a recumbent with a 16 inch front wheel and a 16 inch fork. He swore by the handling of a 20 inch front wheel and a taller 20 inch fork. The problem was his recumbent had a 1-1/4 headtube and steerer. What kind of 20 inch fork would have that? No problem. I machined him a custom crown race adapter and compression ring so he could run his original 1-1/4 headset with a brand new conventional 1-1/8 fork steerer.
