Custom BMX Axle

The axle shown below is from a Premium Stinger hub. It’s made of stainless steel, its hollow and it bends. The one above is a hardened solid steel axle from another hub. I machined two steel sleeves to go over top of it in order to match the critical dimensions of the original stainless axle. Once I put this new axle in the Stinger hub, the client won’t be bending it again.
